The 2020 Bradfield Festival of Music will run between Saturday 27th June and Saturday 4th July 2020. Rachel sings opera arias, duets, and ensembles alongside fellow RNCM Alumni in the grand finale of the festival.
Rachel sings Soprano in Shakespeare in Love (various composers), and joins the Wexford Festival Opera Chorus in Ein Wintermarchen (Goldmark), Le Songe d'une nuit d'ete (Thomas), Edmea (Catalani). Conductors and directors include Julia Burbach, Walter le Moli, and Marcus Bosch.
Rachel joins the Grange Park Opera Chorus for their 2020 season in La Gioconda (Ponchielli), La Boheme (Puccini), and the world premiere of The Life and Death of Alexander Litvinenko (Bolton). Conductors and directors include Stephen Barlow, Stephen Medcalf, and Gianluca Marciano.
Beethoven Choral Fantasy with BBC Philharmonic (Cancelled)
This composition has the distinction of being the first completed operatic adaptation of any Jane Austen novel ever to be staged. Rachel will perform the role of Maria Bertram on 22nd, 26th, and 28th March 2020.

This special award was founded in memory of the much-loved Yorkshire soprano and provides support for an outstanding final year singer at the RNCM.
This is an initiative in the David Clover Festival of Singing and is intended to give the opportunity to singers already studying at universities and conservatoires, to postgraduates, and to those being privately tutored, to continue the development of their art with substantial award money.
